Eyeliner Tips & Tricks

If you have Close-Set Eyes……

Your liner should extend only from the outer edges to the midpoint of the lashline–not on the inner corner. Using any of the Eye Shadow colors, smudle the line at the outer edges–very subtle and sexy!

If the Outer Corners of your Eyes Droop…… On your lower lid, do a thicker line between the middle of your lashline and the inner corner. But keep it thin and feathery near the outer edge. This will help you rebalance your eye–lowering the middle to make the outer corner lift up.

If you have Hooded Eyes…….

Avoid the liner on top: keeping that area lighter goes a long way toward creating the illusion of more lid.

Applying Eyeliner

1. Use the direction of your lower lashline as a guide. Imagine your lower lashes just continue up past the outer corner of your eye.

2. Don’t apply the liner on a closed eye–gently pull the outer corner of the eye sideways, but not all the way shut. Your line will go on straighter.

3. If you need to make your sparse lashes look fuller–wiggle the brush into your lash line, focusing on the space between your lashes. Your eyes look really big but not with the added heavy harsh line.

4. Add some shimmer these colors are very flattering. They are feminine and modern looking–plus they give you that little twinkle in your eye!

5. Keep in mind those of you with smaller eyes–more is not better. Lots of dark or heavy liner on the inner rims actually make your eyes look smaller!

As always Experiment and Have FUN!
