Sometimes I have to look at my children for inspiration.  The following are pictures of my youngest daughter applying her Mineral Makeup Eyeshadow in the most colorful way!

She used Sage and Pink Diamonds as a bottom liner.
Pink Diamonds and Sea Glass Blue on the top lid.
Now why didnt I think of that?  Share your creative pictures with us!

Flax-Seed for Hot Flashes

Just a few spoonfuls of flax-seed daily could cool hot flashes in  menopausal women, suggests a small study from the Journal of the Society for Integrative Oncology.  After eating about 4 tablespoons of crushed flax-seed each day for six weeks, the studies 21 members had a 50 percent drop in hot-flash frequency and showed improvements in mood and muscle pain.   A source of plant-based estrogens, flax-seed shows promise as an alternative to hormone replacement therapy for hot flash relief, notes lead study author Sandhya Pruthi, M.D.

The high fiber seed may also protect against heart disease and some types of cancer, according to dietitian and The Flax Cookbook Author Elaine Magee.  Since your body cant break down the whole flax seed, grind it first (in a coffee grinder) ans stir 2 tablespoons into yogurt , smoothies, soups or salads twice a day.  You can also add ground flax-seed to your favorite muffin or bread recipes.
