How do I return an item?

United States Shipping Rates are as follows When orders are shipped within the United States they will be mail via USPS Priority Mail.

Orders between $1 - $74.99 are shipped at a Flat Rate of $5.95
Orders totaling $75.00 - OVER are shipped Priority Mail at No Charge

We Ship to Canada and other countries via First Class International Mail. Please note that there is no tracking information available for First Class International mail. International customers are responsible for any taxes or duties that may be imposed by their country.

All overseas shipments will now be sent First Class International. Please check your shipping address carefully during checkout. We will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Please note: We ship all items via USPS which means your items will be delayed at least one day during the following recognized Holidays.

Defective or Returned Items

If an item is defective, please notify us immediately you may return the product up to 90 days after you receive it for a full credit to your major credit card. Please include your first and last name and your e-mail address in the package along with your receipt so that we may reference your order and process your returns quickly and efficiently. Please also include your reason for the return. We regret that we do not refund shipping and handling charges nor do we do color exchanges. We will refund you for a returned product and then let you order a new color. This is why we highly recommend ordering sample sizes first!

Please email us first to get an RMA number and return form before sending back any product, this will help expedite the return process! If you do not have an RMA number in your package, your returned item may be declined and returned back to you!

Please also note: If there is only a small amount of product left in the jar(s) when they are returned it will be to our discretion on your refunded amount. Multiple returns will result in cancellation of your account!

It may take up to 30 business days to process the return and credit your Account. We will notify you via e-mail once your return has been processed. Please note that your financial institution will likely take approximately seven business days to reflect this transaction.

Shipping Turnaround Time Standard Shipping orders are shipped within 48 hours, Monday through Friday. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays are shipped the following business day.

Ship To Address Your Mineral Silk order will ship to the address you specify when you check out. You will have the opportunity to specify a different ship to address during Checkout if necessary. Please Note Always use your bill to address as your ship to address. Some credit card companies will not authorize charges unless you enter the same address. Please specify a ship-to address where someone will be present to receive the package. If you live in an apartment complex or have a P.O. box, consider sending the package to where you work instead.

Tracking Information You will receive an e-mail notification of a approximate shipping date and/or a package tracking number. USPS Priority Mail will arrive within two to three business days. Confirmation emails are not sent to hotmail accounts through the postal service, if this is the case please email me for your tracking number. All orders shipped outside of the US via International First Class or Airmail are not traceable.

Our Return Policy When ordering Mineral Makeup please choose your product shades carefully. Check out our sample packs for easy and affordable ways to try our products. If you have any questions regarding shades, ingredients, or application, please email us before you order. We recommend ordering samples of our products if you are not sure of colors.

Place the unused item in its original condition and if possible use the original packaging to ship your product. Include ALL items including brushes from kits. MineralSilk.com uses the United States Postal Service (USPS) ground shipping for all products containing alcohol (including fragrance products) and aerosols. This is a legal requirement in the United States. Please contact us before returning any products. If you are willing, please explain the reason for your return. Your reasons for returns or are important to us and can help us in the future. Returned items should be packaged so there are no spills and in their original packaging if at possible. Please do not ship items without first contacting us as your items may be returned to you. Please note that we will not give full credit for products that are returned with less than 50% of the minerals left in the jar. Your account will be adjusted accordingly and credited at our discretion. If you receive products which were damaged in transit, we must be notified within 48 hours of delivery. Please retain all packaging materials. For your peace of mind, please return your item with a reliable carrier that offers tracking or insurance. Retain your order and shipping information.
